Daily Minors Quick-Notes 9/24/23
The minor league season for the Giants affiliates came to an end on Sunday, as Sacramento finished the Triple-A regular season with a loss. Casey Schmitt and David Villar homered, and Wade Meckler continued his great season of getting on base.

It was a rough day for San Jose, who came home needing to win two straight games to come back against rival Modesto, but they couldn’t get out of the gates to win even one. Meanwhile, John Michael Bertrand led Richmond with a fantastic pitching performance to clinch a playoff spot, and Tyler Fitzgerald now has 20 home runs in Triple-A.
