Three pitchers combined for a big moment in Eugene, including a former top prospect who’s working his way back after injuries.  And the pitching keeps rolling in Richmond and San Jose.

Ragsdale reached his season-high in innings, getting to 5.0, after going to just 4.0 in the first two games.  He’s got 17 strikeouts to nine walks in 13.0 innings.

Other Players to Spotlight:

  • 2B Jimmy Glowenke: 2-5, 1 R, 1 RBI – Glowenke had his first multi-hit game in the last seven games, since his 4-hit game on April 6th.

  • DH Vaun Brown: 0-2, 1 R, 1 K, 1 HBP – I get worried seeing Brown with an HBP and being lifted, but Brown was hit in the 3rd, and wasn’t lifted until the 9th inning, and the ball appeared to get him in the back of his arm and ricocheting off his side, and he did not appear to be bothered by it at all as he took off to first…so, not worried.
