Three pitchers combined for a big moment in Eugene, including a former top prospect who’s working his way back after injuries.  And the pitching keeps rolling in Richmond and San Jose.

No, Bryce Eldridge didn’t play today, and there’s no news. But there were some big hits and a bit of nice pitching on a short day on Tuesday.

Three guys with a pair of hits help highlight a Sacramento win, as well as a certain prospect who is on an extra-base hit roll. Meanwhile, those catchers keep stealing bases in Eugene!

lt was another system sweep for the Giants, with San Jose even sweeping a doubleheader! Will Wilson had a clutch home run for Richmond, Heliot Ramos continues to roll, and Mason Black had another great start.

Richmond picked up their first home win in a tightly-pitched walkoff win, while Sacramento overcame a horrible start by Carson Whisenhunt to score the winning run in the 8th inning.  It’s a system sweep on the day!

A couple of blown leads on this Wednesday get overshadowed by an injury to a top star, though details are scant.

Eugene exploded with a ton of offense to win, led by Velasquez’s hits and Morgan’s slugging. Meanwhile, a fine effort by Hayden Birdsong in his season debut goes unsupported by the Richmond offense.

There weren’t a ton of bright spots on a difficult Sunday across the farm system, but there a few bright spots.

It was a bit of a rough day across the system, but Christian Koss got on base every time he came up while helping Richmond explode to a big first win of the year.  Meanwhile, Brett Wisely’s good run in Sacramento continues, and Hunter Bishop hits his first home run of the season with power to spare.

It was Opening Day for Richmond, Eugene, and San Jose today. Bryce Eldridge homered and doubles in a San Jose loss, and Vaun Brown homered in his first game, while Eugene walked off a 1-0 thriller!

The last day of just one team playing…and the River Cats couldn’t not play another close game.

In the thin air of Reno, the ball was flying out and the Cats were sprinting across the basepaths as the River Cats dominated to a 12-7 win over the Aces.

In four games this season, Sacramento has had four one-run games, and two go to extras, like this 12-inning game that Jakson Reetz powered for a River Cats win.

Two games for Sacramento in one Sunday, and they still needed extra innings to finish the day! But the big news is how Carson Whisenhunt and Mason Black dominated the day.
