It was Marco Luciano’s day on Saturday, as he homered twice, including a grand slam, in a blowout Richmond win. Meanwhile, Luis Matos and Will Wilson kept up their home run ways, plus Wade Meckler and Diego Velasquez made their returns from injuries!

Phew…the first 8-game day in the Giants farm system this season! Reggie Crawford is viewed more as a pitcher, but he hit his first pro home run as the DH for San Jose today. Plus, Will Wilson had his biggest game of the season, hitting two home runs in one game. And Kai-Wei Teng looked like who he was in April, finally.

Luis Matos may have found his power his been missing in Sacramento, hitting a home run in his second straight game. Mason Black had his best start in Richmond. And Guillermo Williamson had a big game in the AZL.

Carson Whisenhunt made his Double-A debut, and it was more of the same that he had been handing out all season. And the Giants 2021 1st round pick Will Bednar made his first appearance in a game in nearly a year, which is good news for the Giants. And in a shortened day, Luis Matos hit his second home run in Sacramento.

Reggie Crawford dealt with his first struggles on the mound in San Jose on a day of much newsworthy but maybe small items. The two latest top international signees got their first hits in the rookie leagues, Turner Hill stole three bases, Vaun Brown was healthy, and Cuban signee Ubert Mejias made his pro debut.
