Quiz Answer:

Okay, no one debated the quiz in the comments yesterday, but I promised an answer, so here it is.  One more time, let’s set the scene, based on this play:

The situation is runners on the corners with nobody out.  The batter lines out to right field, and the right fielder throws to first before the runner can return, getting a second out.  The runner on third tags up and scores.

The Question: How do you score this play?  Does the batter get an RBI?  Does the batter get credited with an AB?

The answer is, at least according to how it was scored by the official scorer:

Sacrifice Double Play, RBI, no AB!  Did any of you get it right in your minds?  No lying, no one every does that in the comments on Reddit!
