Sacramento Notes:

  • Heliot Ramos picked up his 11th home run of the season, accounting for all of Sacramento’s runs with it, as he went 2-for-4.  It’s Ramos’ second home run in the last three games, as he’s gone 4-for-12 (.333) with the two home runs and a double in the season’s final days.
  • Casey Schmitt went 3-for-4 in his second game at Triple-A, hitting a double.  He’s now 4-for-8 in his brief end-of-season callup with the double.
  • Also in a late-season callup (and a return) to Triple-A is Will Wilson, who went 1-for-3 in his return.  It’s Wilson’s first game at Triple-A when he broke a hamate bone in his hand in June 22nd, and kept him out for about six weeks.  He went to Arizona and back to Richmond for their playoff run.  Including today’s game, Wilson is 6-for-26 (.231) with two doubles in Triple-A.
  • Jonathan Bermudez gave up three runs in 4.0 innings, on four hits, three of which were home runs, while striking out five.  Since joining the Giants, Bermudez has now given up seven home runs in 13.2 innings.
