Sacramento Notes:

  • Mauricio Dubón had a big 4-hit day, with a home run and a double.  In Sacramento, he now has 13 doubles and six home runs, and is batting .339 over 56 games at the level.
  • Heliot Ramos notched his fourth home run at Triple-A in his 48th game there.  With 14 total home runs in 110, Ramos is two home runs away from matching his season-high that he hit in 2019 between High-A and Double-A, with two games remaining in the season.
  • Another day at the end of the season, another new member of the Giants organization making his debut.  Ka-ai Tom hit a triple in his first game with Sacramento.  Tom played with the A’s in April, was waived, and claimed by Pittsburgh.  In an injury plagued season, Tom played 39 games for the Pirates, and 23 games with their Triple-A affiliate in Indianapolis.  He was released on September 20th, and signed with the Giants on the 25th.
  • Ricardo Genovés picked up another double in his second game at the end of the season.  Genovés is 3-for-5 so far for a .375 batting average at Sacramento.
  • Ronnie Williams suffered through a tough start, allowing five runs on five hits, two of which were home runs.  They were the first home runs that he’s allowed at Triple-A in 10.2 innings, and just his sixth and seventh overall this season.  He also got no strikeouts, which means in 10.2 innings, he has only struck out three batters to six walks.

DSL Giants Black Notes:

  • Yeison Lemos hit his second triple of the season.  In 39 games this season, Lemos is hitting .230/.309/.400 with seven doubles, two triples, and four home runs.
  • With his fourth double, Onil Perez now has those and two home runs, while hitting .304/.467/.413 on the season, with 29 walks to 11 strikeouts.
  • Johnny Grullon had a rough start, allowing three runs in 3.2 innings.  Grullon has a 6.00 ERA through three starts in September, after posting a 5.87 ERA in August.

DSL Giants Orange Notes:

  • Ramon Peralta had one of his biggest days of his young career, hitting two home runs to give him four on the season.  They were is first home runs since August 23rd.
  • Despite having just a one inning start, Malave allowed four runs for the fourth straight game.  This time, only one run was unearned, however.  On the season, Malave has allowed 21 runs in 24.0 innings, but just 10 runs have been earned.
