The Eugene pitching staff had a great game, led by Trevor McDonald’s four shutout innings in his third game back from injury. Ghordy Santos made sure that stood up with a great game at the plate. Meanwhile, David Villar and Shane Matheny each had good games for each of their teams.

- David Villar led Sacramento offense by going 2-for-4 with a double. VIllar raised his batting line to .254/.352/.479, and now has eight doubles and eight home runs in 38 games at Sacramento.
- Heliot Ramos went 1-for-3 with a double, a walk, and a strikeout, but also got caught stealing once. Ramos now has nine doubles with three triples and eight home runs after 44 games in Triple-A, with 12 walks to 43 strikeouts. He’s hitting .304/.358/.547 in Sacramento.
- Bryce Johnson was 1-for-4 with a double of his own, and also stole a base on the day. That’s his ninth double in 36 games at Sacramento, and his 8th steal on his 12th attempt. His batting line is .293/.362/.490.
- Starter Kai-Wei Teng had a bit of a rough game, giving up three runs in 4.0 innings, allowing two hits, three walks, and a HBP, with three strikeouts. Teng had 12 strikeouts against the same team in his last start on Tuesday. In 38.2 innings at Triple-A, he’s got 48 strikeouts to 25 walks in that span.
