AAA: Doubleheader – Cancelled

  • Once again, the games in Reno were cancelled, for the second straight day.  This time, there is no scheduled doubleheader to make up anything.  Hopefully, the air will be safe enough to play on Thursday.

  • Diego Rincones went 2-for-4 with a HBP and his 10th home run of the season.  Rincones struggled much of the year, but has been on a strong run to finish the year.  He now has ten home runs in 88 games.  Last season, he had 15 home runs in 76 games between Eugene and Richmond.
  • Casey Schmitt led the team in hits by going 3-for-5 with his 10th double at Richmond.  Schmitt now has a .358/.398/.557 batting line through 26 games in Double-A, with ten doubles, one triple, and three home runs at the level.
