Sacramento Notes:
- On the season’s final day, Bryce Johnson led the team in hitting, going 2-for-4 with his fourth triple and 11th double. He finishes the season with a .290/.369/.401 Triple-A batting line, with 11 doubles, four triples, and five home runs over 94 games.
- Dixon Machado went 1-for-2 with a walk and his sixth double with the River Cats. In 35 games with Sacramento, Machado went .231/.282/.380 with six doubles and four home runs.
- Heliot Ramos was 1-for-4 in the season finale. He finishes 2022 with a .227/.305/.349 batting line with 17 doubles, a triple, and 11 home runs in Sacramento.
- Starter Wei-Chieh Huang finished the season strong, striking out seven in five scoreless innings with three hits, a walk, and a HBP allowed. He finishes with a 4.40 ERA in 23 games at Sacramento, with 89 strikeouts to 31 walks in 71.2 innings.
- In relief, Enmanuel De Jesus struck out two in a scoreless inning of work (get ready to hear that a bit). That gives him 118 strikeouts to 51 walks in 101.2 innings.
- Also with two strikeouts without allowing a baserunner in an inning of work was Michael Stryffeler. While he had a 7.88 ERA in 18 games at Sacramento after the trade, he struck out 25 to 17 walks in 16.0 innings. Overall, he had a 4.01 ERA including his time in Double-A pre-trade.
- R.J. Dabovich ended the season for everyone with his own inning with two strikeouts and no baserunners allowed. Dabovich ends with a 4.38 ERA in 23 games at Sacramento over 24.2 innings, with 31 strikeouts to 20 walks. Overall, including Double-A, he had a 3.51 ERA in 45 games, with 69 strikeouts to 26 walks in 51.1 innings.
