Tyler Fitzgerald’s great year at Sacramento continued, as he picked up his 18th home run of the season, while Matos got his ninth at Triple-A. Brett Auerbach had a grand slam in Eugene, and Scott Bandura got his own home run for San Jose.

- Shortstop Tyler Fitzgerald went 2-for-4 with a home run and a walk. That’s Fitzgerald’s first home run in the last six games, giving him 18 on the season. Fitzgerald is hitting .278/.345/.492 with the home runs, 17 doubles, and four triples.
- Left fielder Luis Matos went 1-for-4 with a home run and a walk of his own. It’s Matos’ second game in a row with a home run, giving him nine in Triple-A in 31 games, after he had just three in the same number of games at Double-A, and two in 59 MLB games. He’s now got a batting line of .356/.408/.630 at Sacramento.
- Right fielder Heliot Ramos went 2-for-3 with two walks, but with just two singles. It’s Ramos’ third game in a row with multiple hits and with at least one walk. He’s now moved his batting line up to .321/.393/.614.
- AJ Pollack went 1-for-3 in his second rehab game, hitting a double and drawing a walk. Pollack has been out since being injured in a game with San Francisco on August 8th.
- Starting pitcher Mason Black had a rough game, giving up three runs in 6.0 innings, off of six hits and one walk, while striking out six. That pushed his ERA up to 3.94 after ten games, and has 59 strikeouts to 26 walks in 45.2 innings.

- Catcher Onil Perez was 2-for-3 with a triple and a walk, as well as stealing one base and getting caught stealing once.. The triple is Perez’s first in ten games at High-A, as he’s gone 12-for-34 (.353) at the level. In 62 games at Low-A, Perez had 12 doubles, four triples, and two home runs. In addition, Perez now has two steals in four attempts at Eugene, after having 21 steals in 23 attempts at San Jose.
- Starting pitcher Seth Corry gave up just one unearned run in 2.0 innings, allowing only one hit, but also two wild pitches and one hit-by-pitch while striking out four. After two games at Eugene (4.0 IP), he’s allowed just two runs, one earned (2.25 ERA) with seven strikeouts and one walk in his comeback.
