San Jose had their first playoff game, but an early lead evaporated far too quickly as Modesto made it exciting. Meanwhile, Victor Bericoto reached double-digit home runs in Richmond as their playoff push continues, and Marco Luciano returns to action, but wasn’t up to speed.

The minor league season is coming to an end, with Single-A’s two leagues ending their regular seasons on Sunday, but one team will continue into the playoffs! Meanwhile, Kai-Wei Teng had one of his good games in Sacramento, and Wade Meckler continues to do well back in Triple-A.

Trenton Brooks hasn’t been with Sacramento for long, but he’s come alive against his old team in Las Vegas, with his third straight game with a home run. Meanwhile, Ismael Munguia continues a surprising proclivity for leadoff home runs, and Grant McCray picked up two more steals for his total this season.

It was a huge day for offense in San Jose, as Diego Velasquez hit a home run and two doubles as San Jose had two touchdowns as we head into NFL Week 1. Meanwhile, Jakson Reetz hit two home runs for Sacramento, and Yoshi Tsutsugo hit a grand slam for Richmond.

As the season winds down (and Eugene in particular is petering out), Grant McCray is having a minor awakening at the end of the season, as he hit another home run (but also got caught stealing). In Sacramento, Wade Meckler made his return and had a good game back.
