  • Richmond is in 1st place in the division in the second half, but have a good chance at making the playoffs with eight games left.  It’s complicated, but here goes.  If Richmond wins their division in the second half, they are in.  But they currently are just 1.0 game ahead of Erie, and 2.0 games ahead of Bowie.  Erie won the first half division title, and if Erie beats Richmond to the second half title, then the other playoff spot goes to the team with the second-best overall full season record.  In that race, Richmond has a 4.0 game lead over Bowie.  Richmond will play Erie for the final week-long series of the season.
