  • Frank Rubio bounced back from giving up a pair of runs in his last game to not allow a hit this time out.
  • R.J. Dabovich needed a strong game after having his worst game as a pro, allowing five runs in an inning his last time out.  Dabovich struck out the side, settling his ERA a little back to 8.10 from the 11.12 it was beforehand.

  • Sean Roby picked up his first home run in seven games, giving him a season total of six.  That’s a new career high for a season, as he had hit five in each of his previous two seasons.  It took him 37 games to get to six, as it took him 56 games in 2019, and 45 games in 2018, to reach five home runs.
  • Austin Reich made his Double-A debut with a season-high tying 2.2 innings, striking out five of the eight batters he faced and not allowing a baserunner.  Reich had a 1.73 ERA in 16 games with San Jose.  There, he’d struck out 47 and walked nine in 26.0 innings.
